Lehigh County is offering free legal advice, free food and more at its third annual Community Outreach Day.
The event is planned for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, in the parking lot at Seventh and Walnut streets in Allentown.
Started by Chief Public Defender Kim Makoul, a key piece to the event is free legal help. On Saturday suspended license consultations will be offered from a licensed attorney.
Previous Community Outreach Days helped with driver’s license issues, and expungements and Clean Slate Act petitions.
Saturday’s event will also include free clothing and grocery items, as well as help regarding housing assistance, career services, drug and alcohol recovery, COVID-19 vaccinations, and education opportunities.
